About the role:

What you’ll do:

The chosen candidate will be part of Latam R&D Wellbeing & SDA Team and will be involved in Small Domestic Appliance development for Latin America Market. The successful candidate is asked to execute technical activities and develop new products following the Sector’s Product Architecture and the Global TRM (Technology Roadmap).

In detail, you will:

- Develop Wellbeing & SDA products in line with the Sector’s Generation Plan and the Global TRM.

- Research & development of SDA solutions.

- Technologies and products scouting bring innovation and breakthrough opportunities to the category.

- Digital transformation, agility and innovation mindset.

- Implement test protocols for SDA products.

- Execute performance, reliability, safety, certification and other related laboratorial analysis.

- Apply  the  EPM  guidelines  and  other  Electrolux’s  tools;  Establish  clear  milestones  and  manage  the activities within the supporting areas to deliver the project on time.

- Keep  clear  communication,  engagement,  collaboration  and  alignment  within  different  areas  of  the company and suppliers.

- Continuously evaluate the competitor’s launch. Perform benchmarking and teardown.

- Fully apply the company’s programs, policies and objectives.

As part of the culture of continuous improvement, you will be involved in Lean Thinking projects and activities (EMS/C2W).

Who you are:

- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent education background

- Good understanding of engineering, manufacturing and assembly principals

- Self-starter: a “hands-on” individual who enjoys challenge and is dedicated to getting the job done with the minimum support and direction

- Demonstrated excellence in communication skills for negotiating, presenting and resolving complex and controversial issues and responding effectively to sensitive inquiries and complaints

- Experience in R&D laboratory environment is a plus

- Advanced English is a plus

 Where you’ll be:

You will be based at the Curitiba Factory Plant, located in Guabirotuba. It will be necessary to be available for national and international traveling two to four times a year. Benefits include:
