At this position you will:
Proactively monitor all production networks, applications, and services.
Respond to & resolve alerts/alarms according to standard operating procedures.
Track all issues in a ticketing system.
Escalate alerts/issues to the appropriate Support team and work with the Support team towards a timely resolution.
Work with the following tools: Splunk, New Relic, Grafana, Zabbix, Jira, Slack, etc.
Requirements:
2 years of similar experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
Excellent monitoring / troubleshooting skills.
Working knowledge of Windows and Linux OS, Networks.
Working knowledge of issues / ticket track system.
Good level of English – B2 or higher. You will need to verbally explain technical issues clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Preferred certifications include Cisco CCNA, CompTIA Network+/Security+, ITIL Foundation, or AWS/Azure Fundamentals.
Experience participating in high-priority incident bridge calls and writing post-mortem reports.
Nice to have:
New Relic (or Datadog or SolarWinds).
Splunk or other data log management tools like DynaTrace/Loggly/SumoLogic.
Linux/Unix - basic knowledge.
Networking (basic understanding of BGP, MPLS, OSPF protocols).
