Junior Finance Systems Analyst, Group Finance
Adyen is looking for a Junior Finance Systems Analyst to join our Finance Systems team in Amsterdam. This team is at the heart of Group Finance, responsible for building, maintaining, and scaling the financial technology stack that powers our global operations. We manage key applications like Workday Financials, Workiva, Omnea, Coupa, HighRadius, and various in-house tools, and the primary focus of this role will be ensuring they all work together seamlessly.
This is a high-impact role with a unique opportunity to develop professionally. You will join a team of experts, and we are looking for someone passionate about technology, eager to learn new systems, and proactive in identifying opportunities to create value.
What you’ll do
- Support & Growth: Support the growth of our internal finance processes and assist in driving overall system efficiency.
- Project Delivery: Assist with project delivery and testing, contributing to system evaluations and the global rollout of new tooling.
- Collaboration & Communication: Facilitate stakeholder communication and contribute to process improvement ideas alongside teams like Controlling, Accounting, and Finance Operations.
- Alignment: Collaborate with stakeholders to align regional and global requirements.
- System Administration: Support, maintain, and administrate Workday (and other applications) for global finance operations.
- Cross-Functional Partnership: Work closely with Finance, HR, Payroll, and Procurement teams globally to build a deep understanding of our systems and provide proactive support.
- Solution Development: Partner with and support the finance team and Integration Specialists in developing new solutions.
Who you are
- Experience: 1+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting, or Systems/Technology. We are committed to professional development and will provide the training and mentorship to support growth in this role.
- Communication: Clear communicator with the ability to present technical information effectively to non-technical audiences.
- Analytical Mindset: Possess a strong curiosity for how things work and a problem-solving mindset.
- Pragmatic & Innovative: Hands-on approach to bringing automation ideas to life, with the initiative to drive change collaboratively while considering downstream dependencies.
- Detail-Oriented: Focused on quality and ensuring the integrity of system changes.
- Stakeholder Management: Experienced in managing and aligning with various stakeholders.
- Preferred Skills: Experience with procurement applications (such as Omnea, Coupa, or HighRadius) or a foundational understanding of Finance and/or Accounting is a plus.
