The Role

JM Lexus is seeking an experienced Learning and Development Manager to oversee training programs at our dealership. This role involves facilitating classes, collaborating with business partners, and supporting associates' skill development to enhance the guest experience. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Onboarding: Manage onboarding for new associates, ensuring compliance and a positive experience. 

  • Sales Program: Develop and coordinate an in-depth 6–8-week Sales Program for new Sales Managers. 

  • Lexus Certification: Ensure associates meet quarterly Lexus certification requirements, manage registrations and troubleshoot issues. 

  • Enterprise Compliance Training: Track associates' progress in compliance courses. 

  • Lease My Lexus Program: Manage the Lease My Lexus subsidy program including submitting applications and monitoring payments and eligibility. 

  • Recognition Programs: Manage recognition programs such as Customer Delight and oversee the quarterly MVP recognition program which includes funding, nominations and the celebration event.  

  • Medallia Survey Reports: Analyze and share guest experience with sales and service data with management. 

  • Internal Marketing Support: Assist the marketing department for special events. 

  • Cultural Alignment: Reinforce the "Your Plus Dealer" and "Omotenashi" philosophy. 

  • Relationship Building: Build partnerships with associates, management and business partners (JM&A, Lexus, Enterprise Compliance, HR, etc.) 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in education, HR, or related field. 

  • 5+ years in training/HR with experience in adult education and curriculum development. 

  • Proficient in MS Office and experienced in training delivery. 

  • Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills. 

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills. 

  • Ability to multitask and work with managers to identify training needs. 

  • Familiarity with change management and systems thinking. 

  • Passionate about associate development and continuous learning.
