Job Description:

Position Summary

Johnson & Johnson Supply Chain Business Technology is recruiting for a MAKE Technology Product Analyst within the Enterprise Supply Chain Business Technology MAKE Product Line. This role supports the Ethicon Manufacturing facilities in Cornelia and Athens, Georgia, serving as the primary technology partner for MedTech Surgery manufacturing operations.

The MAKE Technology Product Analyst is responsible for the strategy, performance, reliability, lifecycle management, and value realization of both global and local technology products supporting manufacturing operations. The role acts as the bridge between business stakeholders, technology teams, and shared services organizations to ensure digital products and platforms deliver measurable business outcomes.

This position drives technology innovation, Agile product delivery, operational excellence, cybersecurity readiness, and continuous improvement while supporting the site's manufacturing roadmap and strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Roadmap Management

  • Develop and maintain a clear product vision aligned with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Enterprise Technology strategies.
  • Translate business priorities, user needs, and operational challenges into a prioritized product roadmap.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage emerging technologies, including AI, automation, advanced analytics, and digital data capture solutions.
  • Establish value realization frameworks, including KPIs, key results, success metrics, and adoption measures.
  • Drive innovation that enhances manufacturing capabilities and creates competitive advantage.
  • Maintain site technology factbooks, product catalogs, and lifecycle management plans.

Agile Product Ownership & Delivery

  • Lead Agile product management practices, including backlog prioritization, sprint planning, release management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Partner with business and technical teams to deliver high-quality solutions that improve manufacturing performance.
  • Manage product feature roadmaps, technology deployments, and release schedules.
  • Ensure alignment across stakeholders, delivery teams, and shared service organizations.
  • Remove delivery obstacles and facilitate informed decision-making throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Monitor progress and provide regular updates to business leadership and stakeholders.

Business Partnership & User Engagement

  • Build strong partnerships with manufacturing, quality, engineering, and operational leadership teams.
  • Understand end-to-end manufacturing workflows, pain points, and strategic objectives.
  • Shape technology solutions that address business challenges and improve operational effectiveness.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations regarding priorities, resource constraints, implementation timelines, and platform capabilities.
  • Champion user adoption and change management to maximize business value realization.

Manufacturing Technology Portfolio Management

  • Own the delivery and performance of technology capabilities supporting plant operations.
  • Prioritize investments to maximize business value, operational efficiency, and strategic alignment.
  • Drive speed-to-value through Agile delivery practices and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with technology services teams to ensure appropriate resourcing and execution within budget and schedule expectations.
  • Support technology governance, portfolio planning, and investment prioritization activities.

Operational Technology Leadership

  • Maintain accountability for the reliability, performance, and availability of manufacturing technology products and platforms.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that improve operational efficiency and reduce technology costs.
  • Lead incident management, root cause analysis (RCA), service level management, and trend analysis activities.
  • Monitor key operational metrics, including availability, SLA performance, Mean Time to Repair (MTTR), and product health indicators.
  • Ensure adherence to quality, validation, compliance, and audit requirements within regulated manufacturing environments.

Cybersecurity, Risk & Lifecycle Management

  • Develop and execute cybersecurity, technology lifecycle management (TLM), and risk remediation strategies.
  • Partner with Cybersecurity and ISRM teams to reduce technology debt and improve security posture.
  • Ensure manufacturing systems remain compliant, secure, and prepared for audits and inspections.
  • Drive technology modernization initiatives and lifecycle planning activities.
  • Maintain cybersecurity readiness across plant ecosystems and related products.

Financial Management & Value Realization

  • Support and influence overall site technology investment planning and prioritization.
  • Manage operational technology costs and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) considerations.
  • Develop business cases and track benefit realization from technology investments.
  • Ensure technology investments deliver measurable improvements in business performance, operational efficiency, and user productivity.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Supply Chain, or related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT Product Management, Manufacturing Systems, Supply Chain Technology, Application Support, or related technology roles.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing operations within a regulated GxP environment.
  • Strong understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies.
  • Experience working within Agile frameworks and tools such as Jira.
  • Knowledge of end-to-end manufacturing and supply chain processes.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering technology programs and projects in manufacturing environments.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to align technology solutions to business objectives.
  • Experience building business cases and measuring value realization.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills.
  • Experience operating within shared-services and global delivery models.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, complex environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting MedTech, Medical Device, Life Sciences, or Healthcare manufacturing operations.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing platforms such as MES, ERP, automation, shop floor systems, and digital manufacturing solutions.
  • Experience with AI, GenAI, advanced analytics, automation, or Industry 4.0 technologies.
  • Product Management certification and/or Agile certifications (CSPO, SAFe, Scrum Master, etc.).
  • Experience leading large-scale deployments across multiple sites and geographic regions.
