About the role
We’re looking for a Java SDET to join our client’s Global IT Operations team. Our client is a fast-growing fintech company revolutionizing payments, card issuing, and revolving credit solutions. In this role, you’ll lead the testing efforts in a dynamic, high-impact environment.
What you need to succeed in this role
Proficiency in Java.
Knowledge and experience in testing, skills in JUnit test framework are nice-to-have
Ability to quickly adapt and learn new domains as needed.
Hands-on experience in automating API (REST) testing.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or similar platforms.
Experience with RDBMS and NoSQL databases such as MySQL and Cassandra.
Ability to write, execute, and debug SQL queries for database validation.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with strong attention to detail.
If you get the job, you will have to:
Be part of testing efforts in the payments, card issuing, and revolving credit domain.
Collaborate in creating detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases in JUnit 5.
Prepare and maintain quality assurance policies and procedures.
Design, develop, and execute automation code.
Identify, record, document, and track bugs.
Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products.
Track quality assurance metrics and statistics.
Stay up to date with new testing tools and industry regulatory requirements.
Communicate technical information effectively to team members and customers of varying technical experience.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers on projects.
Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support the team’s success.
