- We are actively looking for an IT application specialist proficient in Java who will support Bosch in the Digital Transformation. You will be part of the IT team of experts who will support Bosch IT in this journey.
- We create an innovative platform which is the Master Data Management system to manage and provide Master Data for the Bosch Digital Transformation. To achieve this transformation, we are using the cutting-edge application named STEP from Stibo Systems which is a global leader in PIM/ CMDM solutions.
- The PIM/CMDM application has a strong integration with the Bosch Media Asset Management system (MAM) and together they form the backbone for any digital /ecommerce business within Bosch.
- As a Stibo STEP Developer, you get to work on exciting customer and product data and integration topics. This role will help you to enhance the MDM skills and be part of one among the hundreds of MDM developers who are in huge demand in the MDM world.
Key Expectations:
- Supporting the team with analysis of customer requirements.
- Collaboration with Bosch-internal application stakeholders worldwide.
- Identifying the root causes of application and interface errors.
- Performing application analyses to ensure high availability and performance.
- A Java developer should have experience in user interface design, statistical analysis, and database structures.
- They should have prior job experience with a business where they have proven that they can produce well-designed code which works effectively and endures testing, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and debug code before it is deployed.
- They should have attention to every detail and ability to work in a team.
Relevant Skills:
- A computer science degree (or in a related field).
- Advanced English language skills (B2/C1).
- Demonstrated ability to work independently in a team.
- A quick learner with natural curiosity and a well-structured thinking.
Required technical skills:
- Core Java – Strong understanding of Java fundamentals, memory management, exception handling, and multithreading.
- Data Structures & Algorithms – Proficient in optimizing application performance using effective algorithms.
- Problem Solving – Strong analytical skills and ability to debug complex issues efficiently.
