Your responsibilities:
First and foremost, you need to be a strong coder and you need to have a interest in IT security. You have to be a true team player. You speak up, are transparent and not shy to stand up for your own opinions. You have an instinctive need to share knowledge and continuously improve yourself and the team.
Your daily work will consist of:
- Refinement of story's
- Coding
- Reviewing
- Testing (mostly automated and some manual testing)
- Building and deploying
- Monitoring
- Discovery of new work
Besides this, you should be willing to work in standby shifts to resolve major incidents.

Information about the squad:
You will be working in a Bus-Dev-Ops squad working on customer authentication and authorization at a global level. This means working on cross border solutions and providing services to ING worldwide. The average squad consists of developers, ops engineers, and customer journey experts. As a team you are end-to-end responsible for the customer journey you are working on. You own the stack and the journey!
The role naming convention in the global ING job architecture will be "Engineer III”.
