Job Summary 

As a Team Lead, you'll play a critical role in supervising, managing, and motivating team members daily to optimize productivity and collaboration. Excellent communication skills are essential as you’ll be the primary contact for all team members, facilitating smooth team operations and ensuring project objectives are met promptly and effectively. 

Responsibilities and Duties 

• Ensure team members are equipped with the necessary resources and support to perform their roles efficiently. 
• Supervise and evaluate each team member's performance, offering feedback, and implementing corrective actions as needed to optimize productivity and quality. 
• Ensure project control and monitoring tools are updated and accurately represent the project's real-time status. 
• Address and resolve project-related issues, alerting higher management and clients to risks and conflicts that could impact project success. 
• Facilitate consistent communication with the team, superiors, and clients to provide updates and address inquiries related to project development. 
• Liaise with other departments within the organization to address and resolve matters related to the project, client, or team members (e.g., client visits, network and computer equipment issues). 

Qualifications and Skills 

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or Informatics. 
• Possess proven experience in a Team Lead role. 
• Demonstrate exceptional leadership and team management skills, with proven experience inspiring and directing cross-functional teams. 
• Show strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels. 
• Possess a problem-solving mindset, equipped with the creativity and collaborative spirit to address and resolve challenges efficiently.

Job Description:

You will take ownership of key architectural decisions, drive the quality of our codebase, and ensure the delivery of high-performance and scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ownership & Leadership: Lead and own the architecture and design of complex Java-based applications, driving innovation and best practices across the development team.
• Architectural Design: Design and develop high-level architectural solutions for large-scale, distributed, and cloud-native systems, ensuring they meet functional and non-functional requirements (e.g., scalability, performance, and security).
• Code Quality & Reviews: Champion best coding practices, drive continuous improvement in code quality, and perform thorough code reviews to ensure adherence to design patterns, coding standards, and quality benchmarks.
• Technical Guidance: Provide hands-on technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, DevOps, and QA, to ensure alignment on technical vision and delivery goals.
• Problem-Solving & Innovation: Solve complex technical challenges with creative solutions while adhering to industry best practices, balancing technical debt with the need for fast delivery.
• Technical Roadmap: Define and maintain the technical roadmap for Java-related technologies, driving technology adoption and keeping the architecture future-proof.
• Communication & Collaboration: Clearly articulate technical concepts and design decisions in meetings, presentations, and written documents, ensuring that both technical and non-technical stakeholders are aligned.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in Java, microservices, and cloud technologies, applying them to improve the overall architecture.

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum 10+ years of experience in Java development, with 3+ years in an architectural role.
• Technical Expertise:
• Deep understanding of Java, Spring Boot, Microservices architecture.
• Expertise in RESTful services, messaging systems (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka), and database technologies (e.g., Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong knowledge of design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
• Code Review Excellence: Proven experience in driving quality through meticulous code reviews, ensuring adherence to coding standards, security best practices, and maintainability.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical issues clearly and persuasively.
• Leadership: High energy and self-driven with a passion for taking ownership of projects from inception to delivery, inspiring the team to excel.
• Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, contributing to technical discussions and helping others grow.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with performance tuning and optimizing large-scale systems.
• Knowledge of multitenancy architecture.
• Experience with version control systems like Git and understanding of repository best practices.
