Position Summary:

The Site Manager plans, organizes, and oversees daily operations of assigned site to meet the strategic goals of the organization. This position is responsible for achieving departmental goals, change management, process improvement, business growth, efficiencies, forecasting needs, employee and client satisfaction and retention, regulatory compliance, employee safety, and fiscal management.

Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Maintains a professional and cordial relationship with client’s facility manager, suggests additional services when appropriate to drive revenue.
  • Represents HHM Facility Management at local events and assists Sales Department with surfacing sales opportunities and contacts.
  • Oversees a team of Supervisors, Team Leads, and Cleaning Specialists.
  • Plan, lead, and monitor the daily activities of team to ensure safety, compliance, and employee and customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Recruit, hire, train, develop, and evaluate the performance of personnel.
  • Maintain company equipment including repairs and routine maintenance in accordance with company standards.
  • Maintain inventory of consumable supplies to avoid disruption of service.
  • Routinely inspect quality of service delivery and respond to customer complaints promptly to ensure quality standards are met or exceeded.
  • Respond promptly to service or special requests to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Proactively communicate with customer to determine satisfaction and recommend additional services.
  • Regularly evaluate the efficiency of business procedures according to organizational objectives and suggest improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, industry, contractual, and company regulations, standards, specifications, and best practices.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience

  • High School diploma required, Bachelor’s degree in related field a plus.
  • 4+ years of leadership experience in a similar industry required.

Physical Requirements

  • Occasional periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. 
  • Frequent stooping, bending, crouching, climbing, pushing, or pulling, and exposure to varying levels of noise, air quality, lighting and the elements. 
  • Lifting up to 30lbs and occasionally 50 pounds.
  • Exposure to chemicals commonly used in the janitorial industry.
  • Use of PPE such as latex gloves, protective clothing, safety glasses, and masks as needed.

Skills Required

  • High school diploma
  • Four or more years of leadership experience in a similar industry
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Strong organizational, leadership, time management, prioritization, and delegation abilities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to use a smartphone and laptop
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and occasionally 50 pounds
  • Ability to work around janitorial chemicals and use required personal protective equipment
