JOB DESCRIPTION
Under general supervision, develops and designs IT technology solutions within end-user and hardware systems. Performs complex analysis and translation of business, information, and technical requirements to achieve IT solutions that meet business needs. Develops design specifications and deliverables related to the support system enhancements.
This position offers a hybrid work model, with the office located in Warsaw.
RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for managing ULS's patch management process for Microsoft security patches for workstations and servers.
  • Responsible for vulnerability management and remediation as it pertains to Windows OS devices.
  • Performing software review, as necessary, to determine software solutions based on user request.
  • Perform software packaging and distribution duties as necessary.
  • Assist in creating, testing, and modifying ULS's PC images for laptops and desktops.
  • Document configuration and installation processes and details.
  • Perform system hardware/software troubleshooting as necessary.
  • Interface with hardware and software vendors as necessary during imaging processes and standards activities.
  • Interface with users, other support staff, and service desk for escalated troubleshooting assistance.
  • Assist in creating and deploying Active Directory Group Policy in relation to end-user computing configuration.
  • Actively participate in strategy and planning sessions related to PC and end client activities
  • Lead and recommend project/activities to improve imaging processes and maintain currency with evolving solutions
  • Leads the development of design specifications and deliverables related to the support of system enhancements
  • Assist in performing infrastructure upgrades and maintenance to SCCM/MECM.
  • M&A Integration and device strategy.
  • Supports change processes, policies, and standards as they relate to IT and End User Computing Services.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • University degree in Computer Science or a related discipline plus generally five years or more of directly related experience and working technical IT experience in area(s) of specialty.
  • Technical expert in Microsoft Windows 11 operating systems, service branches and configuration.
  • In depth experience and knowledge of Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (formerly known as SCCM) is required.
  • Similar knowledge with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager OSD is required.
  • Experience with Windows security tools is preferred.
  • Experience with scripting and coding tools especially with regard to OSD Imaging processes and SCCM/MECM packaging is required.
  • Experience with Active Directory Group Policy is required.
  • Experience with Azure and Microsoft Entra ID is a plus.
  • Experience with support of Lenovo hardware and technologies desirable.
  • Experience with Dell hardware and PC software desirable.
  • Experience with software installation, configuration, and troubleshooting is a necessity.
  • Experience with and knowledge of contemporary "Modern PC" imaging techniques such as Autopilot and Intune much preferred.
  • Experience with alternative operating systems and software (macOS, iOS, Android, and Linux) is a plus.
  • Skills related to writing and documenting configuration and installation processes is necessary.
  • Experience with SQL Server and SQL Server Reporting Services desirable.
  • Experience with ServiceNow a plus.
