What We Need:
Obagi is seeking a dependable and motivated entry level IT Systems Administrator with a strong onsite presence, to support our IT team during a 3–6-month contract. Responsible for providing hands-on technical support to end users, this role will also assist with system administration, device deployment, troubleshooting, documentation, and project management.
What You’ll Do:
- Provide end-user support and troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues.
- Set up, configure, deploy, and maintain computers, mobile devices, peripherals, and other IT equipment.
- Configure and troubleshoot Wi-Fi and basic network connectivity.
- Diagnose connectivity issues using basic networking tools and commands, including ping, IP configuration, and Command Prompt.
- Monitor and manage Helpdesk tickets, ensuring issues are documented, tracked, and resolved or escalated appropriately.
- Manager user account creation, permissions, access management, and basic administration across domain and cloud environments.
- Support Microsoft Azure, Exchange Online, Microsoft 365, and Windows environments.
- Testing and deploy system updates, applications, security tools, and process improvements.
- Maintain accurate documentation of systems, configurations, processes, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Collaborate with IT team members and cross-functional departments to identify and resolve technical and operational issues.
- Provide clear, actionable technical guidance to non-technical users.
- Assist with IT projects, equipment installations, upgrades, and technology deployments.
- Identify opportunities to improve IT processes, automation, and operational efficiency.
- Perform other IT support and systems administration duties as assigned.
- A bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Information Technology (IT) or Computer Science (CS) highly preferred by not required
- At least 1-2+ years of relevant hands-on IT support required; onsite technical support highly preferred
- Prior experience with:
- Desktop/laptop hardware troubleshooting and installation required
- Helpdesk/ticketing systems and best practices
- Windows environments (hardware, software, networking concepts) and domain infrastructure
- Microsoft Azure, Exchange Online, Microsoft 365
- Basic understanding of user accounts, permissions, groups, access management, wifi, networking, and network troubleshooting
- Familiarity with:
- Command Prompt and basic troubleshooting commands such as ping.
- IP addressing and the ability to check & interpret a device’s network configuration
- Analytical and customer-service oriented mindset with strong problem-solving skills
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills; demonstrated ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- A proactive mindset, consistent punctuality, sense of urgency, excellence communication skills
- Comfortable operating in a fast paced, ever-changing environment; someone who thrives in ambiguity and adapts quickly.
- Availability be in office Monday – Thursday and work remotely on Fridays

Skills Required
