Role Overview
We are looking for a proactive and hands-on IT System Administrator to manage and support IT
infrastructure at our Ringus plant location. The role is critical to ensure smooth day-to-day IT operations,
system availability, network stability, and data security in a plant/operations-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
System Administration
• Install, configure, and maintain Windows and Linux servers
• Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policies
• Perform server patching, updates, performance tuning, and monitoring
• Monitor system health, logs, backups, and uptime
• Implement and manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery plans
• Manage virtualization environments (VMware / Hyper-V)
• Maintain IT documentation, SOPs, and asset records
Networking
• Manage and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN
• Configure and maintain routers, switches, and firewalls
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, VLAN, NAT, routing, subnetting
• Monitor network performance and resolve connectivity issues
• Implement network and endpoint security best practices
• Coordinate with ISPs and vendors for network, hardware, and system issues
IT Support & Compliance
• Provide L2/L3 support for plant users and business applications
• Ensure IT compliance, security policies, and audit readiness
• Support onboarding/offboarding from an IT perspective
• Ensure minimal downtime for plant operations
Skills & Competencies
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently at a plant location
• Good documentation and communication skills
• Experience in manufacturing/plant/industrial environments is preferred
