The IT Support Tech I supports the IT department by coordinating hardware and software requests, maintaining asset inventories, and providing first-level technical support. This role is responsible for procuring equipment and licenses, tracking lifecycle and ownership of IT assets, and assisting with IT projects. The position works closely with team members, managers, end users, and vendors to ensure efficient and accurate delivery of IT services.
Responsibilities:
- Stage new systems for deployment by the IT helpdesk
- Perform basic Active Directory user management
- Serve as primary contact for IT hardware requests
- Procure IT hardware including workstations and peripherals
- Complete receiving of IT hardware to support invoice processing
- Maintain accurate inventory of IT assets and lifecycle tracking
- Serve as primary contact for IT software requests
- Procure and track software licenses
- Procure company cell phones and hotspots through vendors
- Maintain cellular device inventory records
- Support documentation of IT systems and environment
- Assist IT team with projects and other assigned tasks
Required Experience and Skills:
