Rhombus is looking for an IT Support Specialist to take care of all our IT needs. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing or upgrading components, setting up software, assisting with network administration, and resolving all IT support issues. This role coordinates with a lot of different departments including Sales, Engineering and more.

What You'll Do:

  • Installing new software and hardware components
  • Regularly evaluating our IT systems to ensure they meet the necessary demands
  • Assisting with network administration tasks
  • Ensuring data storage is safe and secure
  • Resolving all issues coworkers have with their IT systems and software
  • Educating coworkers about network security and best practices for computer usage
  • Supporting the day-to-day operations of our computer network
  • Utilize Office administration tools to ensure healthy mail flow, working spam filters, user administration, among others
  • Work with employees to resolve daily issues in person and remotely (not high end but shows they’ll need to be able to do remote solving as well)

What We're Looking For:

  • AA degree, and 2 years of relevant experience 
  • Certification is a plus: IAT I, A+CE, Net+CE, CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, CCNA/P, Microsoft certified
  • Strong analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication ability, both written and verbal
  • Personable, professional demeanor
  • User administration experience with either Office or Google Suite
  • Experience using Windows and Mac machines
  • Firewall experience a plus
  • Networking experience or certifications are a plus
  • Someone okay with heights and ladder use along with power tools.

This is an onsite position based in Sacramento, CA.

Candidates must be able to commute to the office 5 times a week. 


Compensation 

Base Salary: $60,000-$70,000


Additional forms of compensation, depending on the role, include sales incentives, discretionary bonuses, and equity in the company. Individual pay is determined based on the candidate's primary work/hiring location and additional factors, such as skills and experience, and relevant education, certifications, or training. Further details about compensation for the role can be discussed during the interview process.
