Anton Paar develops, manufactures, and distributes highly precise laboratory and process measurement instruments as well as customized automation and robotics solutions. To strengthen our global IT Helpdesk team, we are looking for a motivated 1st Level Support specialist. As the first point of contact for our employees worldwide, you will handle IT requests, resolve a wide range of issues directly, and ensure that more complex topics are efficiently routed to the appropriate IT teams.
Job Description- Serve as the first point of contact for IT requests from employees worldwide, including processing and documenting incidents and service requests within the ticketing system
- Independently resolve common 1st-level support issues related to workplace environments, hardware, software, user accounts, and access rights, and escalate more complex cases to 2nd and 3rd Level Support
- Provide user support via remote assistance, phone, and on-site at the local office
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and standard software applications
- Perform standardized tasks in Active Directory and manage permissions in accordance with global IT policies
- Prepare and provide IT equipment for onboarding and offboarding activities, and maintain IT asset documentation and the internal knowledge base
- Completed IT education (apprenticeship, technical college/HTL, or equivalent qualification) or comparable professional experience
- Initial experience in IT support or a helpdesk environment is an advantage
- Good knowledge of Windows and Microsoft environments; experience with Active Directory is a plus
- Excellent German and good English language skills
- Strong customer service mindset and enjoyment of working directly with end users

We offer a fair and market-aligned salary based on the collective agreement for employees in the metal trade – adjusted to the regional conditions of the Styrian labor market.
