IT Support Engineer

Definition:

Provides IT support to operation’s as directed.

Spec’s, sets up and/or installs or coordinates with vendors to install IT hardware to include: PC’s, laptops, tablet devices, printers, modems and cell phones.

Spec’s, sets up and/or installs or coordinates with vendor to install IT software to include: MS Office, Zoll CAD, Zoll Billing, Zoll Navigator and Zoll Crew Scheduler.

Provides support and trouble shooting in coordination with vendors on all IT hardware to include: PC’s, laptops, tablet devices, modems and cell phones.

Provides support and trouble shooting in coordination with vendors on all IT hardware to include: MS Office, Zoll CAD, Zoll Billing, Zoll Navigator and Zoll Crew Scheduler.

Assists in maintaining IT system security via set up and maintenance of firewalls, anti-virus software, passwords protection systems and other measures.

Generates reports as required to assist management team in ensuring effectiveness, integrity and security of IT systems.

Performs other duties related to IT operations as directed.

• Regional President (Collaborates w/ Local VPO’s & DO’s)

Specific Duties:

• Demonstrates complete knowledge, understanding and compliance of company policies and procedures.
• Spec’s, sets up and/or installs or coordinates with vendors to install IT hardware to include: PC’s, laptops, tablet devices, printers, modems and cell phones.
• Spec’s, sets up and/or installs or coordinates with vendor to install IT software to include: MS Office, Zoll CAD, Zoll Billing, Zoll Navigator and Zoll Crew Scheduler.
• Provides support and trouble shooting in coordination with vendors on all IT hardware to include: PC’s, laptops, tablet devices, modems and cell phones.
• Provides support and trouble shooting in coordination with vendors on all IT software to include: MS Office, Zoll CAD, Zoll Billing, Zoll Navigator and Zoll Crew Scheduler.
• Sets up and maintains local and company wide networks.
• Spec’s, sets up and ensures security in coordination with vendors local operations wireless systems.
• Spec’s, sets up and ensures security in coordination with vendors local operations mobile vehicular modems systems.
• Spec’s, sets up and ensures security in coordination with vendors local operations telephone systems.
• Assists in maintaining IT system security via firewalls, anti-virus software, passwords protection and other measures.
• Assists in maintaining company’s compliance with HIPPA regarding security of protected patient information.
• Ensures the security of all company computer systems by adhering to security procedures and utilizing appropriate passwords policies.
• Ensures security of buildings, vehicles, equipment, systems and all other company property.
• Acts at all times with his/her personal safety in mind, as well as the safety of others.
• Maintains security and privacy of all company and patient information at all times in accordance HIPPA and all other local, state and federal regulations.
• Maintains security and privacy of all confidential and proprietary company information at all times in accordance with company policy.
• Reports to assigned shifts properly groomed and attired and on time unless the proper notification has been made.
• At all times sets an example of professionalism and leadership for others to follow. Performs other duties as directed by management.
• Generates reports as required to assist management team in ensuring effectiveness, integrity and security of IT systems.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be able to type/keyboard at least 40 WPM.
• Must have basic understanding of all Zoll software packages.
• Must be proficient with all Microsoft Office software packages.
• Must have a basic knowledge of website development and design.
• Must be knowledgeable in use of Windows, HTML/PHP, .NET and SQL.
• Must have a basic knowledge of vehicular mounted modems and GPS/AVL systems.
• Must have very good administrative skills including organizing, filing and basic math.
• Must have good project management skills and be able to simultaneously lead multiple projects.
• Must have at least five years experience in the IT field including hardware set up and trouble shooting, software installation and trouble shooting, systems administration and systems security.
• Must have a minimum of Associates degree in computer science, Bachelors degree preferred.
• Must have a good technical understanding of personal computers, tablet devices, telephone systems and associated hardware.

• The ability to reach, push and pull.
• The ability to sit at a work station for long periods of time working on a computer.
• The ability to complete all job duties during any and all hours of the day and night.
• The ability use mouse or keyboard to input data into computer over long periods of time.
• The ability to view graphic and text data on multiple computer screens for long periods of times.
