Broad Function:
As a Fresher IT Executive, you will support day-to-day IT operations at the Noida location and help employees use their laptops, desktops, software, printers, and network connections effectively. You will work with the IT team to resolve routine issues and escalate problems that require specialist support.
The role includes device setup, IT asset records, user onboarding and offboarding support, ticket tracking, and clear documentation. You will develop practical support skills while following approved procedures, access permissions, and information-security requirements.
Roles and Responsibilities (not limited to):
- End-user IT Support: Receive user queries, identify symptoms, perform basic troubleshooting, and communicate progress in clear language.
- Laptop and Desktop Setup: Prepare and configure laptops and desktops, install approved software, check peripherals and connectivity, and verify readiness before handover.
- IT Asset Management: Maintain accurate inventory records, record asset assignments and returns, and coordinate stock checks and device movements.
- User Onboarding Support: Assist with device allocation, approved account and access requests, application setup, and employee IT orientation.
- User Offboarding Support: Coordinate device returns, update inventory, and support approved access removal and data handover with the authorized IT team.
- Network and Printer Troubleshooting: Check basic connectivity, cables, Wi-Fi, printer status, and print queues; escalate unresolved or wider outages.
- Software Troubleshooting: Support routine installation and application issues using approved methods; avoid unauthorised software and security changes.
- IT Ticket Management: Record incidents and requests, capture troubleshooting steps, track status, prioritise using impact and urgency, and confirm resolution.
- Documentation and Team Coordination: Maintain support records and checklists, coordinate routine IT activities, and escalate risks or unresolved issues with relevant evidence.
Requirements
Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Fresher; prior full-time IT support experience is not required.
- Relevant IT or computer-related education or training is preferred. Specific qualification requirements are to be confirmed.
- Basic understanding of laptop and desktop hardware, operating systems, and common office applications.
- Basic knowledge of network connectivity, Wi-Fi, IP addresses, and printers.
- Ability to follow a logical troubleshooting process and recognize when escalation is needed.
- Clear verbal and written communication and a patient, service-oriented approach.
- Willingness to learn, follow IT procedures, and work collaboratively with the IT team.
- Basic spreadsheet skills for maintaining asset inventories and support records.
- Ability to support IT operations at the Noida location; work mode to be confirmed.
- Awareness of password confidentiality, approved access, and safe handling of company devices and data.
- Internships, academic projects, or practical exposure to device setup and user support are preferred, not mandatory
