About the role:
We currently have an excellent opportunity for an IT Support Analyst to join our Operational Department team based in Lae.
This role primarily exists to deliver quality Business Centre (help desk) service on a daily basis for all Hastings Deering users in conjunction with other IT functions.
Reporting to the Business Centre Manager, your competencies and experience will include:
- Ensure safety goals are achieved through personal commitment, no harm to self or others and participation in safety initiatives.
- Ensure investigations for incidents are proactively managed and resolutions are achieved within designated timeframes
- Ensure performance is monitored, communicated to the team and improvement opportunities identified and pursued
- Ensure customer expectations are mutually agreed through engagement with managers and team
- Responsible to incident calls and emails from users on desktop related issues
- Provide remote troubleshooting support on desktop issues within reasonable time
- Escalate unresolved cases to relevant onsite support team
- Document all reported incidents
About You:
You will bring the following skills and experience to the role:
Essential
- Diploma in Computer Science or Information Technology
- Previous experience in a similar role or equivalent.
- Excellent computer knowledge, working with Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Dynamics AX, Windows XP, Virtual Private Network (VPN), Internet Explorer and Network Connectivity
