A unique opportunity is now available for an experienced and highly motivated Business Centre Manager to oversee the Business Centre operations in Port Moresby PNG.
This will be a residential, Monday to Friday opportunity based in Port Moresby, will relocation offered.
Reporting to the Service & Operations Manager, the focus of this role will provide leadership to the Port Moresby branch and continue to support and grow the business in this region.
The key responsibilities of this role will include but not be limited to:
- Provide day to day management of the Business Centre operations
- Lead, coach and mentor employees to ensure a culture of high performance
- Drive a no harm safety culture with a focus on continuous improvement
- Oversee the financial performance of the Business Centre
- Monitor and analyse existing and potential opportunities and take appropriate actions to ensure market leadership
- Build and maintain internal and external relationships to further enhance Hastings Deering reputation and success
About You
You will bring the following skills and experience to the role:
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within the mining, mining services or heavy earthmoving industries
- Proven people management skills with the demonstrated ability to lead people to deliver results
- Strong commercial acumen with proven ability to meet and exceed targets.
- Tertiary qualifications in Business or relevant trade qualification
- Demonstrated experience in establishing and maintaining mutually beneficial customer relationships
- A high level commitment to safety and continuous improvement
