About the Role
The IT Manager is responsible for leading all information technology operations at the Tecate facility, ensuring the reliability, security, and scalability of the company’s technological infrastructure. This role will oversee network systems, databases, hardware, and camera infrastructure, as well as the design and implementation of new software programs from the ground up. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with strong leadership and project management skills to support both local and corporate initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all IT operations, including infrastructure, systems, and network administration.
- Develop and implement technology strategies aligned with business goals and corporate services.
- Supervise IT staff, providing technical guidance, training, and performance management.
- Oversee installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of hardware, software, and networks.
- Manage the setup, configuration, and optimization of databases (SQL, ERP systems, etc.).
- Plan and execute new system implementations and software rollouts from zero.
- Maintain and ensure functionality of wiring, network cabling, and camera systems (CCTV).
- Ensure data protection, cybersecurity compliance, and regular system backups.
- Coordinate with U.S.-based teams to support cross-border technology and operations.
- Manage IT budgets, vendors, and procurement of technical equipment and services.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in IT management, infrastructure, or systems administration.
- Strong technical expertise in databases, networking, wiring, and security systems.
- Demonstrated ability to lead IT projects and implement systems from concept to completion.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- English proficiency (verbal and written) required.
- Valid U.S. crossing visa (B1/B2 or equivalent) required to travel LV as needed.
- Experience working in manufacturing or corporate environments preferred.
