The IT Summer Help position will focus on projects that support system upgrades, user lifecycle management, and IT process improvements across the organization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform Windows 11 in-place upgrades for 100+ devices
- Image and deploy replacement devices when upgrades are not possible
- Assist in auditing and scripting onboarding and offboarding processes
- Support efforts to reduce onboarding/offboarding time and manual data entry
- Develop and standardize IT documentation and formatting practices
- Review and audit existing documentation for accuracy and usefulness
- Identify obsolete documentation and present for weekly review
- Assist with helpdesk operations and resolve low-level technical support tickets
Skills & Experience Required:
- Basic understanding of Windows operating systems and computer hardware
- Familiarity with device imaging or endpoint management tools is a plus
- Exposure to scripting (PowerShell preferred) or automation concepts
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Effective communication skills with both technical and non-technical users
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Education Requirements: Currently pursuing a four-year degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
