About us:
Flutter, the world’s largest online sports betting and iGaming group listed on the London and New York stock exchanges, is home to the Southern Europe & Africa (SEA) region, featuring iconic brands like Sisal, Snai and PokerStars, a globally loved brand that embodies innovation and ambition, with significant growth potential in a dynamic market.
Your role:
The IT Strategy Senior Manager plays a key role in shaping, evolving and governing the IT strategy of the Southern Europe & Africa region, ensuring alignment between business priorities, technology evolution and Flutter Group strategic direction.
The role acts as a strategic integrator across IT Strategy, Enterprise Architecture, Innovation and key technology partners, supporting decision-making at executive level and translating strategic objectives into actionable roadmaps and initiatives.
This position requires a broad strategic view, strong stakeholder management and the ability to navigate complexity rather than deep hands-on execution on a single domain.
What you’ll do:
IT Strategy & Roadmap
Define, evolve and continuously monitor the regional IT Strategy in alignment with business objectives, market dynamics and Flutter Group guidelines.
Develop and maintain a multi-year IT roadmap balancing innovation, sustainability, cost efficiency, security and operational excellence.
Ensure alignment and coordination with Enterprise Architecture, Factory leadership and Demand functions.
Group & Vendor Alignment
Act as the primary interface with Flutter Group IT Strategy and related governance forums.
Coordinate with key technology vendors and partners to support strategic scouting, assessment and roadmap execution.
Strategic Initiatives & Portfolio Support
Support the definition and prioritization of strategic IT initiatives and transformation programs.
Contribute to business cases, investment evaluation and strategic trade-offs (TCO, ROI, value realization).
Emerging Technologies & Innovation
Lead the identification and evaluation of emerging technologies in collaboration with Enterprise Architecture and Innovation teams.
Assess impact on IT blueprint, operating model and business outcomes, ensuring long-term scalability and sustainability.
GenAI Strategy & Governance
Oversee the structured scouting, evaluation and adoption of Generative AI solutions, supporting the Innovation Lab.
Ensure appropriate governance, risk assessment and lifecycle management, focusing on measurable productivity and business impact.
Business & Executive Stakeholder Management
Partner with senior business and IT leaders to translate business needs into clear strategic directions and measurable IT outcomes.
Support executive-level communication through clear narratives, presentations and decision-support materials.
Capability & Culture
Contribute to the development of strategic capabilities within IT, fostering a culture of collaboration, learning and continuous improvement.
What you’ll bring:
Experience & Mindset
Solid experience in IT Strategy, IT Governance or Technology Transformation roles within complex or international environments.
Proven exposure to end-to-end IT strategy definition and evolution, even in matrix or federated organizations.
Strong ability to operate at executive and senior stakeholder level, influencing decisions rather than executing delivery.
Strategic & Analytical Skills
Experience in technology evaluation, roadmap definition and strategic prioritization.
Familiarity with cost-benefit analysis, TCO/ROI modeling and value-driven decision frameworks.
Ability to synthesize complexity into clear recommendations.
Frameworks & Domains (working knowledge)
IT Governance & Management: ITIL, TBM or equivalent.
Enterprise Architecture concepts and frameworks (e.g. TOGAF, ArchiMate – awareness level).
Cloud strategy and architectural principles (AWS, Azure, OCI – awareness or advanced understanding).
Data & Analytics: KPI definition, IT performance monitoring, reporting tools.
GenAI: basic models, governance principles, lifecycle management, prompt frameworks and AI risk assessment.

What We Do
Sisal, the first Italian company granted a state concession for gaming, was founded in 1945 thanks to the vision and intuition of three sport journalists. Over 75 years, we have fostered a relationship of trust and credibility with stakeholders, promoting gaming design and management with an approach based on expertise, transparency and safety, guaranteeing full compliance with regulation standards. Our development is structured around three strategic guidelines: Innovation, Internationalisation and Responsibility. Innovation means developing skills, technologies and processes - all key factors for digital transformation. This focus on innovation has also inspired us to strengthen corporate functions that deal with technological development and online business, with a large-scale program to recruit new talent. The internationalisation process launched in 2018 has led us to countries with great potential, including Turkey, Morocco, Spain, and continues with the selection new markets where our business can expand. Sisal has made a real commitment to promoting a sustainable business model: protecting players through a Sustainable Gaming program certified to the highest international standards, valuing our people by supporting their professional development and implementing initiatives to improve the work-life balance, and supporting the community to generate shared value for all. Responsible gaming is in our DNA and it holds the key to our future.
