Job Objective:
We are seeking an
Information Technology Specialist responsible for ensuring the efficient
operation, maintenance, and procurement of office infrastructure, while
providing reliable technical support across the organization’s IT systems and
networks.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
Ø Maintain
computers, servers, and networking devices to ensure optimal performance.
Ø Provide
timely technical support and respond to inquiries regarding PC systems,
software, and hardware issues.
Ø Train
staff on standard software applications and demonstrate advanced features and
usage techniques.
Ø Install,
configure, and troubleshoot PC/server hardware, operating systems, and software
upgrades.
Ø Manage and
optimize network configurations, interfaces, and internet connections.
Ø Diagnose
and resolve network cable, hardware, and configuration issues.
Ø Coordinate
IT-related projects including system installations, upgrades, and enhancements.
Ø Conduct
needs assessments, research and evaluate hardware and software solutions.
Ø Maintain
and monitor the IT budget to ensure cost efficiency.
Ø Advise
management on all IT and information system-related issues.
Ø Act as
administrator for all web applications and software, including:
- Official
website
- Microsoft
Office Suite
- Email Server
- Zoho Recruit
- Zoom
Ø Stay
updated on emerging trends and technologies in the information systems and IT
industry.
Ø Perform
other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
Job Requirements:
v Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer
Engineering, Information Management Systems, or a related field.
v Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a System
Specialist or in a similar IT support role.
v Strong understanding of computer hardware,
software, and networking systems.
v Proficiency in troubleshooting, system
installation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure.
v Hands-on experience with Microsoft Office Suite,
email servers, and cloud-based applications.
v Knowledge of data protection regulations and
cybersecurity best practices.
v Ability to manage multiple IT projects and meet
deadlines effectively.
v Excellent communication, analytical, and
problem-solving skills.
v Strong attention to detail and commitment to
delivering high-quality technical support.
