We are currently seeking an IT Specialist to join our Corporate Information Technology Department! As an IT Specialist at KCF Technologies, you'll have the opportunity to work on highly collaborative team in one of the most exciting fields in technology- right in the heart of State College, PA! We're looking for a self-directed, customer focused, team-oriented IT professional who has a keen attention to detail and excellent oral and written communication skills to communicate complex technical information in easily understandable language. This is a hybrid role with the expectation to be in-person at least 3-4 days per week at our State College, PA downtown location.

Job Summary:
Provides consultative and technical support services regarding the operation, installation and selection of desk-side computer systems, hardware, and software used by employees throughout the company. Knowledge in technologies such as desk-side computing hardware, video conference platforms (such as Microsoft Teams Rooms), Meraki network infrastructure, Microsoft Intune mobile device management (MDM) software, and Azure active directory is highly preferred. Communicates concisely to employees and also documents appropriately as it relates to internal policies and practices.
Essential Functions
- Provide in-person and/or remote support for employees at all KCF office locations, their home offices and/or the field on KCF technology such as computers, applications, mobile devices and printers.
- Setup IT equipment, cabling, and user accounts for new employees at KCF offices
- Support network-connected devices such as printers, digital signage, and video conferencing
- Design, develop/create, and document computer systems automations or process workflows based on and related to user needs
- Provide training for users on a regular basis at new hire orientations or ad-hoc based-on needs
- Develop scripts and implement tools to automate and streamline desktop support operations
- Perform basic system administration tasks such as provisioning user accounts and managing group memberships
- Create standard operating procedures and user support documentation
- Provide mentorship to more junior employees and IT interns
- Other duties as assigned by the supervisor and/or KCF Leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, or another related field preferred
- Willing to work in-person 3-4 days per week at KCF's State College, PA office
- Must be able to travel to KCF’s other facilities in State College and Bellefonte, PA
- Minimum of 2 years IT experience preferred
- Previous desktop support experience required
- PC hardware troubleshooting experience required
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills required
- Active knowledge on Windows 10 and 11 installation, maintenance, administration, and troubleshooting required
- Experience with central management tools such as Microsoft Intune, Azure AD, Active Directory, Group Policy preferred
- Experience in Microsoft 365 services preferred
