Position Overview
The mission of the IT Software Configuration and Reporting Intern is to participate in the implementation of new technologies, support existing processes, and drive improvements that enhance the company and our systems. This position is for the summer of 2025.

Quick Summary

The IT Software Configuration and Reporting Intern is responsible for creating applications through configuration of logic on the Tulip Platform and the creation of PowerBI reports, as well as supporting data management. You will have the opportunity to assist with system implementations- deploying and configuring new technologies to improve manufacturing processes and security. You will take part in our cybersecurity measures to best protect the company and our customers. In all aspects of this role, you will be able to work with teams to identify and implement IT solutions that enhance our processes and improve security in support of our continuous improvement efforts.  To be successful you must be self-motivated, possess excellent communication skills, time/project management skills, a positive attitude, be able to keep timely consistent and accurate records of work. In our business, it is critical the candidate can demonstrate a solid understanding of the importance of quality and security.

Basic Background Requirements

This position will require:

  • Enrolled in a 4-year degree program in Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar
  • Basic understanding of networking, databases, and system administration. Familiarity with programming languages and IT tools is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and other departments.
  • Ability to manage time and projects effectively while setting and meeting aggressive schedules
  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment and contribute to various projects.
  • Ability to work independently
  • Previous internships or academic projects related to IT or manufacturing can be beneficial.
  •  Experience with software tools commonly used in manufacturing, such as ERP systems, SQL, or data analysis tools are a plus.
