As Information Security Lead you will be responsible for providing both oversight and direction for management of information security risks across the organization with particular focus on establishing, maintaining, and overseeing the security policies and processes to ensure information assets and technologies are protected, but also loss control measures, safety, disaster, and recovery.
You will be working closely with the executive management to determine acceptable levels of risk for the organization, and you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining a corporate-wide information security management program.
You will be based in our Business Services Hub in Budapest and you'll lead a small team of 3 experts, focusing on Governance and Compliance, Security Operations and Security Architecture.
You will be part of the global group IT organization consisting of approx. 190 employees, and you will be reporting to the group CIO.
As our new Director of Information Security your primary responsibilities will be to:
- Lead the development and execution of our cyber- and information security governance and strategy
- Develop, implement and monitor a strategic, comprehensive information security program to ensure appropriate levels of confidentiality, integrity, availability, safety, privacy and recovery of information assets owned, controlled and processed by the organization
- Design and govern information security policies, standards, control and monitoring framework, risk assessments, risk treatment plans
- Provide executive reporting, security performance monitoring and board-level security communication
- Manage the collaboration and ensure optimal service delivery via our third-party vendors delivering IT Security Operations
- Work directly with the business units to facilitate risk assessment and risk management processes
- Partner with business stakeholders across the organization to raise awareness of risk management concerns
- Assist with the overall business technology planning, providing a current knowledge and future vision of technology and systems
- Work with the Indirect Procurement to ensure that information security requirements are included in vendor contracts
- Oversee planning and response to internal and third-party information security audits and serve a primary point of contact
- Liaise with external agencies to ensure that the organization maintains a strong security posture
- Embed Information Security into our development process and products in collaboration with R&D
