Storage Commander, part of the Fullsteam organization, is looking for an experienced IT Project Manager with a strong background in Agile methodologies to lead our technology projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing cross-functional teams, delivering projects on time and within budget, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. You will be responsible for driving key technology initiatives across multiple business units, ensuring they align with our company’s strategic goals.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage multiple IT and software development projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets, managing all phases of the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, including developers, QA engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders, to deliver successful outcomes.
- Champion Agile practices, guiding teams in Scrum, Kanban, or other Agile frameworks to optimize delivery and collaboration.
- Continuously assess project risks, create mitigation strategies, and adapt plans to meet evolving business needs.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging retrospectives, and implementing feedback into future projects.
- Facilitate effective communication between all stakeholders, ensuring that project progress, risks, and changes are clearly communicated.
- Manage relationships with third-party vendors and contractors to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Collaborate with business unit leaders to align technology projects with strategic objectives across the company.
Primary Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience in managing software development projects from start to finish.
- Strong understanding of Agile principles and frameworks.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Agile certifications (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster, PMI-ACP) are a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
