The Opportunity

As the Project Manager you will take the helm in driving innovative IT projects to improve operational efficiency and support our mission of delivering high-quality pharmaceutical and diagnostics products. In this role, you will lead cross-functional teams in the successful execution of IT projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and regulatory requirements. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving innovation, optimizing processes, delivering transformative solutions and operational services to support our mission of advancing healthcare through cutting-edge technology. Responsibilities:

  • Crafting a comprehensive project plan, including defining project goals, objectives, scope, deliverables, and timelines. Identify tasks, prioritize, and build a schedule to ensure the project progresses efficiently.
  • Collaborate with multifunctional teams and ensuring effective collaboration. 
  • Proactively identifying potential risks and developing strategies to mitigate or minimize their impact. This includes conducting risk assessments, crafting contingency plans, and monitoring risks throughout the development and run phases.
  • Working with relevant team members to define and manage the project / improvement and/or operational budget. Monitor costs, track expenses, and ensure that the product is delivered within the allocated budget.
  • Developing and implementing quality control processes, conducting quality reviews, and addressing any deficiencies to maintain high-quality outcomes.
  • Responsible for driving continuous improvements and elevating overall service experience.
  • Assessing change requests, evaluating their impact, and implementing approved changes while minimizing disruption.
  • Transition of projects to operations with appropriate service transition set-up and governance to ensure operational service quality is maintained (SLA, KPI) 

Who You Are

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related study with 5+ years of proven experience as a project manager
  • Have business domain knowledge in one or more of the following area(s): manufacturing, quality, engineering or supply chain
  • Passionate about learning, sharing and further developing‚ best practice and embed it as next practice to achieve greater impact
  • Have a good understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques as well as service management to effectively manage projects and operations of services
  • Have outstanding organizational skills to develop and manage project plans, timelines, and resources effectively
  • Proficient in active listening, negotiation, and presenting information clearly and concisely
  • Possess a combination of analytical thinking, hands-on problem solving, and a customer-service mindset
  • PMP certification is an asset and Proficiency in ITIL Service Management (ITIL v3 or v4 certification) 
  • Awareness of regulations like HIPAA, GDPR, FDA CFR Part 11 will be an asset
  • ERP and SAP S/4 is a plus
  • Nice to have: Knowledge of the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and experience in Computer Systems Validation (CSV) will be an asset
