Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to join our dynamic team at DocGo. The IT Project Manager will be crucial in overseeing the successful planning, execution, and completion of technology projects across the organization. This role demands strong leadership capabilities, a solid technical foundation in IT systems, and a proven ability to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Responsibilities:

Lead the planning, implementation, and closure of IT projects, ensuring they meet business requirements.

Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.

Develop detailed project plans to monitor and track progress while managing project resources and budgets effectively.

Coordinate efforts between internal teams and third-party vendors to ensure seamless project execution.

Ensure timely delivery of projects within scope and budget constraints.

Implement project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs as needed.

Apply verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.

Report and escalate issues to management as required.

Conduct risk management to minimize project risks.

Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.

Maintain comprehensive project documentation and ensure all team members adhere to it.

Oversee daily operations of project teams, ensuring clarity of role and task distribution.

Use project management methodologies to ensure projects adhere to timelines, specifications, and budget.

Manage communication across all areas of the enterprise that impact project scope, budget, risk, and resources.

Partner with business leaders to leverage IT for achieving business goals.

Manage medium to high complexity cross-functional projects.

Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, engaging with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business goals.

Implement quality control procedures to maintain high standards of delivery.

Proactively identify process improvements and lead strategic initiatives for better efficiency and effectiveness.

Manage client expectations and communicate effectively to maintain positive relationships.

Foster a collaborative environment and support team development and engagement.

Lead internal meetings, and present project status to stakeholders and clients clearly and effectively.

Demonstrated progression in responsibilities within a professional project management environment.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent professional experience) required; master's degree a plus.

Minimum 5-7 years of experience as an IT Project Manager, with extensive knowledge in managing large scale IT projects.

Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills; adept at written and verbal communication.

Proven leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.

PMP certification highly preferred; familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project or similar project management tools.

Experience in healthcare IT is advantageous.

Excellent negotiation and conflict management skills.

Strong understanding of digital technologies and project management best practices.
