As IT Project Manager for Sales Applications, you support cross-functional projects and initiatives for our global sales departments. You'll play a key role in supporting IT projects and initiatives across Global Off-Premise, On-Premise, and Category teams. Job DescriptionPROJECT MANAGEMENT
In this role, you lead and deliver large-scale, cross-functional international projects in the area of sales and business applications, with a strong focus on analytics and AI enablement. You coordinate scope, budget, timelines, quality, and external implementation teams or partners, ensuring alignment across all key stakeholders (IT, Sales, Data, etc.). You develop and manage strong relationships with stakeholders in Headquarters IT, the Headquarters sales department, and local subsidiaries, while managing and steering external vendors, implementation partners, and internal delivery teams to ensure successful end-to-end execution.
REQUIREMENTS ENGINEERING & BUSINESS ANALYSIS
You partner closely with IT and sales teams to understand business processes, gather and challenge requirements, and translate them into robust technical concepts for sales-related applications. You lead requirements engineering efforts, question assumptions, and ensure all initiatives are aligned with strategic objectives. Together with IT, data, and analytics teams, you design end-to-end solution architectures, for example, leveraging cloud platforms, data lakes, and AI/ML models. By doing so, you drive the standardization and harmonization of global sales processes through technology and analytics.
INNOVATION & NEW INITIATIVES SUPPORT
You identify and support innovative approaches to improve sales tools and processes, collaborating closely with the innovation team to explore new technologies and opportunities. In addition, you lead pilot projects and proof-of-concept initiatives to test, validate, and scale new ideas.
TRANSFORMATION CONSULTING
In this role, you serve as a trusted advisor to senior business stakeholders on digital transformation, analytics strategy, and AI opportunities, identifying high-value use cases for advanced analytics, machine learning, and automation within sales and commercial functions. You conduct impact assessments and feasibility studies and develop business cases for new initiatives while promoting a data-driven mindset and supporting the organization in adopting new tools and ways of working.
QualificationsUniversity degree in Computer Science/ Business Administration, or equivalent practical experience
Fluent English skills, German is a plus
At least 4 years of experience in the IT environment with a focus on sales, business analysis, and project management, ideally within the FMCG industry
Strong project management capabilities with a track record of successfully delivering and rolling out business applications (incl. end-to-end solutions)
Excellent analytical and conceptual thinking skills; able to navigate complex processes and proactively address risks
Proven exposure to modern data platforms such as Snowflake and Databricks, or cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure), as well as SAP systems such as S/4, CRM, and MDG, is considered a plus
Ability to work effectively in an international and cross-functional team
Eagerness to learn and contribute with fresh ideas, paired with a proactive and customer-oriented mindset
Additional InformationDue to legal reasons we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position, which is EUR 2,362 gross per month. However, our attractive compensation package is based on market-oriented salaries and is therefore significantly above the stated minimum salary.
