Job Summary
A Technical Project Manager leads successful, global, complex implementations of solutions through strong understanding of technical infrastructure, excellent project management skills, and effective communication (written and verbal). Projects are executed on time and on-budget, while fostering trusting relationships with IT and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions

  • Work with various teams to deliver projects which improve technical processes, technology, and security at ZOLL Medical.
  • Responsible for planning, execution, completion and measurement of IT projects.
  • Responsible for leading multiple, complex, cross divisional projects at the same time.
  • Takes project from original concept through final implementation and project closure.
  • Interfaces with all areas affected by the project including end users, infrastructure services, architecture, and application team members.
  • Accountable for defining and managing overall project scope for the life of the project.
  • Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project budgets, resource plans, and status reports.
  • Build and track a detailed budget for the projects. Provides regular project financial status including actuals and forecasted project spend.
  • Create detailed project schedules and manage project resources accordingly.
  • Create presentations for executive leadership consumption.
  • Conducts project meetings and is responsible for all tracking, spend tracking, and project risk analysis.
  • Ensures adherence to quality standards and required project deliverables.
  • Manages the integration of vendor tasks and reviews vendor deliverables in collaboration with project stakeholders. Leverages internal and external experts to provide technical and analytical guidance to the project team.
  • Effectively drive meetings with all stakeholders to provide actionable results.
  • Identify, track and mitigates project issues and risks. Able to escalate issues and resolution plans quickly and effectively.
  • Effectively allocate and forecast project-level resources.
  • Manage project schedules to ensure accurate forecasting of project completion dates.
  • Collaborates successfully across both internal and external resources.
  • Provides weekly project status updates and coordinates regular steering committee meetings with IT Directors and/or key stakeholders (as needed)

Required/Preferred Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in technology or equivalent experience in IT required
  • 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in an IT environment required and

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Demonstrated knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong facilitation and elicitation skills
  • Proven leadership skills
  • Strong creative and analytical thinking

Travel Requirements

  • Up to 5% possible
