IT Project Manager Data and AI

For our global IT team, we are looking for an IT Project Manager AI & Data who will be the lead behind our innovative AI and Data projects on a global scale. Your mission will be to steer complex IT projects from start to finish, ensuring they align with our high standards and policies. Your insights will be valuable for the evolution of IT project management at Fugro. Success in this role means delivering projects punctually, within budget, and scope.

Your role 

You will be responsible for creating project plans, including milestones, adhering to deadlines and allocating resources, with a focus on AI and data projects. Specific technologies that play a role here are CoPilot, AzureML, PyTorch, Snowflake and PowerBi.

• You are responsible for the implementation of IT applications, supported by IT operations with documented user procedures; 

• You ensure that projects are executed on time, within budget and within scope; 

• You prepare continuous project status reports and conduct post-project evaluations; 

• You perform quality control on the projects throughout their lifecycles and perform risk management to minimize project related risks; 

• You lead a cross functional team and make sure the stakeholder expectations and project deliverables are met; 

• You collaborate with: 

• Various country IT managers, vendors and Global IT resources; 

• Various project team members across the business; 

• Internal audit to address IT related risks and findings; 

• Information Security to safeguard that enterprise applications comply with applicable laws and regulations; 

• Change and communication, ensuring stakeholder engagement throughout the deployment; 

• Global application supply to ensure a proper handover to support; 

• The PMO Manager to improve the project delivery framework. 

Your track record 

• You have a Bachelor degree with a background in Project Management, Information Technology, Business Administration or a related field; 

• You have at least 5 years’ relevant experience in an international project based company with several years of experience in implementing AI and Data solutions; 

• As a plus, you have change management experience and leadership skills for managing projects; 

• You have excellent communication skills on a technical and non-technical level and are able to communicate across functions and organisational levels; 

• You are able to understand the big picture and can show the ability to connect with stakeholders. 

• You have excellent English language skills, both written and oral.
