We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager & Application Owner to fill a hybrid role within our IT department. This individual will be responsible for both leading the successful, end-to-end delivery of different sizes of IT projects and for assuming full lifecycle ownership of one or more key business applications.
This position will focus mainly on the HR, Legal and Communication domains.

Your Responsibilities:
Project Leadership:
Lead complex IT projects from initiation to closure, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget adherence.
Application Stewardship:
Own the application lifecycle, including strategic roadmap, budget, and business value.
Manage application support and incidents and ensure Service Level Agreement are met
Stakeholder Management:
Act as the primary IT partner to the business, translating needs into technical requirements.
Vendor & Procurement Management:
Lead RFI/RFP processes and vendor selection, managing partner relationships after implementation (QBR)
Operational Excellence:
Guarantee application(s) stability, security, and performance as the final escalation point.
Team coordination:
Coordinate matrixed internal teams and external vendors to achieve project and operational goals.
As an IT Project Manager
Initiation & Planning:
Collaborate with sponsors to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
Develop detailed project plans, work-breakdown structure and resource plan
Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
Establish project budget and track invoices process.
RFI / RFP Preparation:
Partner with business and technical teams to define detailed requirements for new software
Author comprehensive Request for Information and Request for Proposal documents.
Manage the vendor communication and Q&A process.
Organize and facilitate vendor demonstrations.
Lead the vendor evaluation committee, develop scoring matrices and provide a final selection recommendation.
Support the procurement and legal teams during contract negotiation.
Execution & Control:
Lead project kick-off meetings and regular status meetings.
Proactively manage and track project risks, issues, and dependencies, escalating as needed.
Manage the project budget, tracking actuals against forecast and handling change requests.
Prepare and deliver clear status reports and presentations to all levels of stakeholders
Ensure project documentation and deliverables are tracked, reviewed and approved
Closure:
Coordinate User acceptance testing and ensure all criterias are met for go-live.
Manage the project transition to the operational support team.
Conduct post-project reviews and "lessons learned" sessions.
As an Application Owner
Strategy & Roadmap:
Develop and maintain the 3-5 year strategic roadmap for the application(s), aligning with business objectives.
Plan for the application lifecycle, including upgrades, enhancements, and eventual closure.
Financial Management:
Develop and manage the annual budget for the application(s), including licenses, maintenance, support, and enhancement costs.
Continuously track and optimize costs
Operations & Performance:
Act as the primary escalation point for major incidents and problem management.
Monitor application performance, availability, and user satisfaction.
Liaise with infrastructure, database, and security teams to ensure the underlying technology stack is robust and secure.
Lifecycle & Vendor Management:
Manage the backlog of bug fixes and enhancement requests
Oversee the release management and change control process for the application.
Manage the relationship with the application vendor(s), ensuring adherence to Service Level Agreements and driving value from the partnership.
Compliance & Security:
Ensure the application adheres to all internal security policies and external regulations.
Elaborate compliance and security documentation during project implementation
Coordinate regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, and disaster recovery testing
Qualifications:
Essential
Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering
More than 5 years of practical experience in projects related applications
Demonstrable experience as an application owner, product management
Project management certification (PMP)
Proven, end-to-end experience leading RFI/RFP processes, vendor evaluation, and selection.
Strong experience managing external vendors and managed service providers
Experience of working within a culturally diverse global company
Fluent or native English speaker
Knowledge and experience on Google workplace
Desirable
Knowledge and experience with technical fields ( application architecture, servers and applications services troubleshooting,...)
Knowledge of Imerys internal organization
Conversant in French would be advantageous
