Leidos is seeking an intern to assist our Program Management team within the Law Enforcement and Litigation IT Portfolio.In this portfolio, Leidos provides various IT services, engineering, and technical support for customers primarily within the Department of Justice.Support includes managed IT services, managed service desk (Tier 1), deskside support (Tier 2), workstation and server engineering and maintenance, security, managed print services, ITSM, infrastructure, Agile development, and end user support to name a few.
The Program Management team manages our contracts and ensures that we deliver quality products to our customers.There are a wide variety of tasks that roll up to the Program Management team, and the Program Management Intern might be pulled into reviewing data related to tickets, building business cases, reviewing invoice data, planning future work, generating bases of estimate for growth opportunities, responding to customer concerns, managing schedules, and many other related items.The management team generally does not perform detailed technical tasks, but the successful intern candidate will have a technical understand of IT principles.
In order to be of most benefit both to the intern and to Leidos, we envision this role to be a hybrid one: the successful candidate will work on site at our Program Office in Washington DC several days a week, and will work remotely other days.

The individual selected for this position should be pursuing a degree in a technical discipline such as engineering or computer science and should have a broad technical background.The candidate should have the ability to multitask and juggle numerous priorities and customers.Excellent written and verbal communication skills will help the intern be successful.

Primary Responsibilities
The Program Management intern will assist Program Management team with day-to-day program management tasks, including but not limited to: building briefing materials, preparing spreadsheets, analyzing financial data, collaborating with the team, analyze ticket data, support on-contract proposal activities, organize and manage schedules, and other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
Candidate selected will be subject to a Government Public Trust security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to the customer’s information. Current clearance is not required, but selected individual cannot start the assignment until the required security clearance is granted by the customer. This process is currently taking 12+ weeks (quicker for candidates who have current clearance).
Required Education & Experience:
- Working towards a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
- US Citizenship is required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Ability to multitask and function in a quick-paced environment.
- IT Skills
Preferred Qualifications
Desired Qualifications:
- Past experience with ATF
- CompTIA A+ Certification
- Experience providing IT support for law enforcement operations.

Pay Range:Pay Range $39,000.00 - $70,500.00
