Responsibilities

Accountable for the planning and execution of medium to high complexity technology projects within the Automations program. The Program Director will work closely with stakeholders to coordinate delivery across cross-functional teams, ensuring that all relevant parties are involved, consulted, or informed. The Program Director assists with vendor management and coordination.

Provide direction to project managers to ensure that all work streams are carried out effectively and efficiently. Work with BA, QA and Development teams to have resources allocated to the projects. Liaison with Solution Architects and leaders across the org as needed to manage delivery of all technological initiatives within the program. Work with minimal supervision to plan across the multiple projects and present progress to leadership

Possesses strong Project Management skills and experience. Holds others accountable to drive programs/projects to successful execution. agreed-upon outcomes. Ensures that scope and schedule, including changes, are well understood by all interested parties. Coordinates requirements and deliverables across multiple teams, helping to resolve conflicts, dependencies, and technical tradeoffs and ensure teams understand broad, architecture and enterprise-level priorities and how that affects sequencing. 

Communicates frequently and capably with a diverse audience, tailoring channel and message depending on needs and desired outcomes. Is influential and can drive change with minimal direct authority. Can articulate complex technical needs in a way that is understood by a non-technical audience. Is aware of and communicates the end user impact of technology projects.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related fields
  • 10+ years of information systems experience.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience with proven demonstration of leading enterprise level projects/programs
  • 5+ years of managing multiple concurrent project assignments.
  • Expert ability to oversee and manage large, complex, diverse and strategic multi discipline projects that impact the organization as a whole.
  • Ability to communicate with multiple teams to achieve buy-in and action.
  • Excellent cross-group collaboration skills and demonstrated ability to lead virtual teams to deliver product outcomes.
  • Expert level understanding and ability to manage complex program and project budgets.
  • Expert level knowledge in conducting risk assessments and developing plans for eliminating or mitigating the risks identified.
  • Strong time-management skills; the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously. Strong technical aptitude. 
  • Strong/excellent oral and written communication skills, including ability to compose and present business and technical material to technical and non-technical audiences, in particular senior leaders within the organization
