IT Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Support Analyst

Job Description

About the Role:  

Brooks Automation is a global leader in automation solutions, serving advanced technology markets such as Semiconductor manufacturing. Our new greenfield manufacturing site in Johor Bahru, Malaysia represents our commitment to innovation, excellence, and local talent development.  

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient IT Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Support Analyst to support and enhance our enterprise PLM environment. This role is responsible for maintaining the interface between our Product Lifecycle Management and Supply Chain Management systems as well as general support for the Product Lifecycle Management application. 

Reporting to the Director, Enterprise Architecture based in the US, you will be part of our global team supporting Agile PLM across Brooks.  

Work Location: Onsite - Johor Bahru (Pasir Gudang), Malaysia. 

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Provide day-to-day support for the PLM application, including: 

  • --Workflow configuration 

  • --Application access control 

  • --CAD system integration 

  • --User management and mass uploads 

  • Troubleshoot and resolve application errors in collaboration with our vendor (Oracle) 

  • Support and maintain integrations between PLM and SCM systems 

  • Conduct root cause analysis for system and data issues 

  • Understand and document data flow across enterprise applications 

  • Assist with system upgrades, testing, and deployment activities 

  • Perform other duties as assigned to meet evolving business needs. 

Qualifications & Competencies: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Engineering, or related field 

  • 2-4 years of relevant experience in IT support, systems analysis, or PLM environments 

  • Experience with Agile PLM and/or Oracle Fusion Product Management (preferred but not required) or general PLM experience 

  • Strong understanding of enterprise application integration and data flow 

  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and root cause analysis 

  • Familiarity with CAD systems and their integration with PLM platforms 

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
