IT Performance Engineer - RemoteJob Description
The IT Performance Engineer (IT Quality Engineer) is responsible for delivering automated performance testing scripts that identify reliability and scalability concerns. This includes creation and maintenance of automated performance scripts and frameworks that support activities such as performance testing, test data, quality metrics, etc. These frameworks align with the continuous integration environment. This position partners with software engineers to enable the ability to test in a continuous integration environment.
Responsibilities
-
Designing Performance test plans, workload models, scenarios creation and perform testing based upon non-functional requirements.

Test case documentation, support for testing activities (i.e., smoke, platform, performance) and test automation
-
Creating performance scripts using TruClient Web HTTP/HTML or other protocols.

Ability to analyze performance test dashboard
-
Work with stakeholders and gather/communicate/collaborate performance testing activities.

Assist in debugging, analyzing test outcomes, certifying integrations, and recommending corrective action for failures
-
Participate in small teams to define and implement test solutions
-
Participate in QEC activities such as metrics, training, grooming of roadmap, and reporting

Education & Experience
-
Bachelor's degree in information technology or related area of study, or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience; HS diploma or GED is required
-
2 years of combined experience in any of the following: testing of applications in Data, Web or Mid-Frame environments, requirements analysis, or application software automation and/or performance testing
-
Must be eligible to work in the United States without need for work visa or residency sponsorship
Additional Qualifications

Strong technical and programming/test automation skills

Strong written/verbal skills

Ability to facilitate, manage conflict, and build consensus; ability to reach agreement through interpretation of facts, practices, policies and using influencing and negotiation skills

Experience leveraging tools to perform tasks

Knowledge of PBM or Healthcare industry
Preferred Qualifications

Experience performance testing enterprise-class system software packages

Experience using LoadRunner, JMeter or other enterprise-level performance testing tool

Experience using TruClient, Web HTTP/HTML or other protocols

Experience using AppDynamics, Dynatrace or other enterprise-level application performance monitoring tool

Experience performance testing cloud-based application

Experience with CI/CD

Experience using Zephyr or other enterprise-level, test and defect management tool
Physical Demands

Ability to work a flexible schedule including shifts outside of Prime's core business hours of 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Potential pay for this position ranges from $74,000.00 - $118,000.00 based on experience and skills.
