This position reports to:
Local Division IS Manager__
We are looking for a new colleague to join our team in Blučina as an Operational and Information Technology Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting and managing hardware and software used in electrical manufacturing. You can expect a varied workload and the opportunity to participate in diverse local and international projects.
Your responsibilities:
Software IT Support
- Support and administration of applications (e.g., Solid, Eplan, MVE, DraftSight)
- Preparation and maintenance of documentation
- Ensuring compliance with security and architectural requirements
- Supporting software installations and collaborating with suppliers
- Administration of license servers
- Deployment of mass changes and creation of installation packages
- Management of local MyIS catalog items
- Participation in project activities
- User support and resolution of common incidents
Hardware OT Support
- Administration of manufacturing devices and hardware infrastructure (MES PCs, tablets, terminals, barcode printers, industrial PCs, displays, and meeting room equipment)
- Implementation of new technologies
- Preparation and maintenance of documentation
- Vulnerability management and remediation
- Support for new technology installations and cooperation with suppliers
- Participation in project activities
- User support and incident resolution
- Asset registration and maintenance in the SNOW system
- Secondary school or university degree (IT field is an advantage)
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar position
- Strong interest in IT is essential
- Fluent Czech or Slovak language skills are required
- Communicative level of English
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, independence, and determination to successfully deliver projects
