Seeking an experienced candidate for IT Operations Technician, Identity Operations.
The Opportunity
The IT Operations Technician is responsible for global Identity Access Management in a fast-paced environment that supports MetLife critical and legacy systems, leveraging modern automation, RSA, Mainframe, Entra, Active Directory, multiple intake systems and sources.
How You'll Help Us Build a Confident Future (Key Responsibilities)
- Create and provision IDs for multiple OS environments, applications and remote access (RSA & Entra MFA).
- Monitor multiple intake systems (group mailboxes, request forms, etc.) for reported access requests and issues.
- Troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis of ID and access incidents.
- Support audit and reporting requirements.
- Create, update, maintain procedures and process documentation. Train junior team members.
- DevelopCoordinate Automation of manual tasks.
What You Need to Succeed (Required Qualifications)
- 2+ years of experience in an IT Operations, ID Administration or IAM support role.
- Basic to intermediate level understanding of Active Directory Administration.
- Experience with ID provisioning tools and request systems (e.g. Service Now, SailPoint, etc.).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal: ability to build effective partnerships with peer groups, vendor staff, etc.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail .
- Ability to multi-task effectively and be able to work in an open, collaborative environment to support both individual and team objectives.
What Can Give You an Edge (Preferred Qualifications)
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field. 4+ years of equivalent work experience required in lieu of degree is acceptable.
- Scripting (PowerShell, Java, Python or similar).
- Familiarity with Mainframe RACFTSO ID and Dataset provisioning.
The salary range for applicants for this position is $63,900 - $85,200.
