Job Description:
Position OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and motivated IT Operations Specialist to join our growing team. This entry-level role is perfect for someone looking to kickstart their career in IT operations while keeping our business running smoothly behind the scenes.
In this role, you will split your time between foundational IT support (monitoring systems, basic troubleshooting, and user setup) and critical data entry operations (maintaining databases, logging technical inventory, and ensuring data accuracy). The ideal candidate has a passion for technology, an eagle eye for detail.
Key ResponsibilitiesIT & Systems Operations
System Monitoring: Assist in monitoring performance, health, and data quality
User Support & Provisioning: Help set up new hire workstations, configure accounts (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, etc.), and troubleshoot basic hardware/software issues.
Asset Management: Track, log, and manage company IT inventory (laptops, monitors, licenses).
Documentation: Maintain clear logs of IT support tickets, resolutions, and system updates.
Data Entry & Administration
Data Maintenance: Input, update, and maintain accurate records in our company databases
Quality Assurance: Cross-reference and verify technical data for accuracy, identifying and correcting discrepancies.
Reporting: Help compile and format routine operational and data reports for management.
File Organization: Organize and digitize physical records, ensuring digital filing systems are structured logically.
Qualifications & Skills
Education: Software Engineer
Technical Literacy: Excel, Google Sheets, Servicenow usage
Data Accuracy: Experience with data entry tools or databases is a plus
Problem-Solving: A logical approach to troubleshooting simple hardware and software glitches.
Communication: Good written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with team members and assisting internal users.
Adaptability: Ability to balance routine, repetitive tasks (like data entry) with dynamic, unexpected technical tasks.
