IT Operations Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior IT Operations Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our IT infrastructure and endpoint devices, providing advanced technical support, and driving continuous improvement in our operational processes. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual with a strong background in IT operations, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities:

Infrastructure Management:

·       Oversee and maintain the company’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage, and cloud services.

·       Ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of all IT systems and services.

·       Manage virtualization technologies (Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (Azure).

·       Implement and manage monitoring tools to ensure proactive identification of potential issues.

·       Develop and implement automation scripts to streamline operational tasks and improve efficiency.

Endpoint (Computer) Support:

·       Provide advanced support for endpoint devices (Windows and Macbooks)

·       Ensure the proper deployment, configuration, and maintenance of operating systems and software applications.

·       Manage endpoint security, including antivirus, encryption, and patch management.

·       Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues for end-users.

·       Provide advanced technical support to internal teams and end-users

Backup and Disaster Recovery:

·       Manage backup solution to ensure data integrity and availability.

·       Perform regular backup tests and updates.

Education and Experience:

·       Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

·       Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT operations or a similar role.

Technical Skills

·       Strong knowledge of server, storage and network administration.

·       Experience with virtualization technologies (Hyper-V).

·       Good knowledge of Microsoft Active directory and Office 365

·       Familiarity with IT monitoring tools (Zabbix)

·       Familiarity with FortiGate Firewalls

·       Knowledge in Veeam Backup solution

·       Expertise in endpoint management and support, including deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting.

·       Knowledge of endpoint security measures and management tools.

·       Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
