Data Management, Quality & New Systems Readiness
The IT Associate will support the execution of data-related work required for CBS implementation and ongoing operations by:
Performing routine data quality checks (monthly, quarterly and ad hoc) to validate accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data across Salesforce, Formstack, PandaDoc, Google Sheets, the data warehouse, and CBS-related datasets.
Supporting data migration activities from legacy systems into new system(s) by preparing datasets, validating records, and resolving flagged data issues.
Implementing and maintaining data validation rules in Salesforce and Formstack to reduce data capture errors at source.
Using SQL queries to extract, reconcile, and validate data across systems.
Supporting basic Python scripts or structured analysis to identify anomalies, missing data, and inconsistencies.
Assisting with intake audits and data corrections following application and onboarding cycles.
Maintaining clear documentation of data issues identified, actions taken, and resolutions achieved.
SAM & Intake System Support
Preparing Salesforce, Formstack, and Pandadoc environments before each application kick-off, ensuring forms, workflows, and integrations are functional.
Testing application and onboarding forms (including ISA, career, and affordability inputs) ahead of each intake to confirm correct data capture.
Supporting system readiness at least three days before each application launch.
Assisting with post-intake audits by extracting data, identifying gaps, and supporting corrections within agreed timelines.
Supporting system updates required for new programme structures, cohorts, or PEI-specific workflows.
Collaborating with the Data team to support compliance-related workstream, i.e. affordability assessment MVPs using data warehouse outputs.
IT Systems Support & User Management
Resolving IT support requests from staff, targeting at least 90% resolution within 48 hours.
Managing user access, permissions, and profiles across Salesforce, Google Workspace, and other approved systems.
Troubleshooting basic hardware, software, and connectivity issues for staff laptops and office systems.
Supporting onboarding and offboarding of staff by setting up devices, accounts, and system access within defined timelines.
Escalating complex technical issues to the IT Manager or external service providers as required.
Maintaining support logs and documenting resolutions.
IT Security, Compliance & Controls Support
The IT Associate will support day-to-day IT security and compliance activities by:
Assisting with the rollout and maintenance of endpoint protection tools (e.g. antivirus and firewall software) on staff devices.
Supporting staff onboarding on IT security policies, data protection requirements, and acceptable-use guidelines.
Conducting basic compliance checks to ensure devices and systems meet security standards.
Supporting IT-related data and system requests for regulatory and compliance reporting (including NCR, FIC, and SACRRA), under guidance from the IT Manager and Compliance team.
Where required, supporting alignment with group-level IT security standards and reporting frameworks, without ownership of group systems or policies.
Data Analytics & Reporting Support
The IT Associate will support operational analytics and reporting by:
Using SQL to extract and validate datasets for reporting, risk reviews, and operational analysis.
Supporting basic data analysis using Python, Excel, and approved BI tools.
Assisting with the creation and maintenance of standard dashboards and reports using Salesforce reporting and BI tools such as Power BI.
Supporting data refreshes, report validation, and consistency checks prior to internal or external reporting.
Documenting report logic, queries, and assumptions to ensure reproducibility.
Documentation, Training & Process Support
Maintaining process notes and contributing to updates of SOPs related to IT, data quality, and system usage.
Supporting internal training sessions on system usage, data quality practices, and basic reporting.
Assisting with end-user training on data accuracy and system compliance in collaboration with the IT Manager and Compliance team.
Requirements
Educational Qualifications and Minimum Requirements
Educational Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Experience:
2 to 4 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, data operations, or a similar role.
Practical experience with:
CRM systems (Salesforce preferred)
Online form tools (Formstack or similar)
Data quality checks and reporting
IT user support and system troubleshooting
Technical Skills & Competencies
Working knowledge of SQL for querying, validating, and reconciling datasets.
Basic to intermediate proficiency in Python for data analysis or data validation tasks.
Experience using BI or analytics tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
Experience supporting data quality, reporting, or system operations.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Exposure to data warehouses and system integrations.
Experience supporting affordability assessments, risk reporting, or financial datasets.
Familiarity with credit systems, CBS platforms, or regulated financial environments.
Relevant certifications or coursework in data analytics, SQL, Python, BI tools, or information systems.
Certificate in UNIX Systems Administration or Microsoft Windows Systems Administration.
