Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced IT Manager to lead the technology function for one of our business units. The IT Manager will be responsible for managing IT infrastructure in the plants/sites, while also overseeing systems and applications. This role requires a seasoned professional with strong leadership, stakeholder management, and project management skills who can ensure reliable, secure, and scalable technology operations. He/she will also play a strategic role in IT governance, service delivery, and security, while taking ownership of IT operations during the turnover of the operating company.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee IT infrastructure in plants/sites (networks, servers, storage, cybersecurity, connectivity, etc.) to ensure high availability, resilience, and security
  • Provide oversight and support for business systems and applications (ERP, productivity tools, and other platforms) to ensure alignment with operational needs.
  • Lead the overall IT operations of the business unit, ensuring seamless integration of infrastructure, systems, and applications.
  • Provide strategic direction in IT governance, policy development, and long-term technology planning.
  • Drive service delivery by ensuring timely and effective support to business users and operations.
  • Manage the turnover and integration of IT operations to the operating company, ensuring smooth transition and continued operations.
  • Partner with stakeholders across business units to identify IT needs, develop solutions, and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Oversee project management initiatives including system upgrades, implementations, and process improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with IT security, data protection, and regulatory standards.
  • Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and IT procurement.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and development to the IT team.
  • Regularly travel to plants/sites (at least once per month) to ensure IT alignment, management, and support.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s degree a plus).
  • At least 10 years of progressive IT experience, with minimum 5 years in a leadership or managerial capacity.
  • Strong background in IT infrastructure (networks, servers, cybersecurity, connectivity, cloud, storage, etc.), with exposure to systems and business applications (ERP, productivity tools, etc.).
  • Demonstrated experience in project management, service delivery, and IT governance/policy.
  • Strong understanding of IT security, risk management, and compliance frameworks.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with proven ability to work across diverse teams.
  • Experience handling IT operations during business transitions, mergers, or turnover preferred.
  • Willingness to travel to plants/sites at least once per month.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP, CISSP, Microsoft, AWS) are an advantage.
