IT Manager

Position Summary 

603 Manufacturing is seeking a proactive and experienced IT Manager to oversee all aspects of our information technology infrastructure. This role is critical to maintaining secure, efficient, and scalable systems to support our growing manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on technical expertise along with strong leadership and project management skills.

Minimum Qualifications 

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field or equivalent experience.

Experience:

• 5+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Knowledge:

• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and business systems.
• Proven experience in IT infrastructure management, systems integration, and cybersecurity.

Skills:

• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with regulatory compliance (e.g., NIST, ISO, CMMC) and data security best practices.
• Strong project management skills with a track record of delivering complex projects on time and
• within budget.

Job Responsibilities 

.  Lead and manage daily IT operations, including helpdesk support, network administration, and systems maintenance
· Oversee implementation, upgrades, and maintenance of hardware, software, and enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, MRP, inventory systems)
·  Ensure cybersecurity protocols are in place and followed, including threat detection, data protection, and disaster recovery planning
·  Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers
·  Develop and enforce IT policies and best practices across the organization
·  Support data analysis, reporting tools, and process automation projects
·  Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering teams to align IT strategy with business goals
·  Provide hands-on support for troubleshooting system issues, server management, and user support as needed
·  Monitor and maintain network infrastructure (LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPNs)
·  Train staff on IT tools, software, and cybersecurity awareness

Internal and External Relationships 

This position interacts with many internal departments including Production, Quality and regularly. External relationships include vendors and suppliers.
