Job Summary

The IT manager is  responsible for the smooth running  and continuous improvement of the IT landscape within the agreed requirements, specifications, costs and timelines. He/ she will supervise the implementation and maintenance of the company’s IT needs in Europe.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, control and evaluate IT systems and processes
• Establish user needs and system functionality in alignment with organizational strategy and policy
• Manage internal and external IT staff
• Design, develop, implement and coordinate systems, policies and procedures
• Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems
• Represent IT in business projects
• Lead/manage IT projects
• Provide second and third line support to users
• Ensure cost effectiveness in line with budgets
• Act as first point of contact for supplier management and contracts
• Planning of activities and staffing in the IT-department
• Responsible for managing employees and activities in such a way that the intended team result is achieved
• Coaching, encouraging and coordinating the IT-team, in such a way that optimal deployment is guaranteed
• Promotes team building and employees' sense of responsibility
• Holds progress and assessment interviews with team members

• Actively contribute to a clean and safe working environment, including the responsibilities as mentioned in the employee handbook
• Report unsafe behavior and situations
• Follow offered safety trainings and courses

Knowledge and education

• Bachelor’s Degree or greater in Management of Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5-7 years of technical, hands-on D365 Finance & Operations or AX version 20xx or Navision ERP experience
• 3-5 years of experience leading people in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in disaster recovery plans and service level agreements
• Demonstrate superior customer relationship management skills
• Good written and oral communication skills in both Dutch and English
