The IT Manager will be responsible for overseeing the company's information technology infrastructure, ensuring the smooth operation of all IT systems, and leading a small team of IT professionals. Given the smaller size of the IT team, the IT Manager will also have hands-on responsibilities in managing and maintaining the IT environment. This position is ideal for a candidate who still wants to keep their technical skills up to date while providing leadership. Experience with QAD ERP highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the IT department, including network administration, software development, and technical support.
• Lead and manage a small team of IT professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluation.
• Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to ensure the security and efficiency of the company's IT systems.
• Coordinate and manage projects related to IT infrastructure upgrades, system integrations, and software implementations.
• Ensure the availability, reliability, and performance of IT systems and applications.
• Work closely with other departments to identify and address their IT needs and provide technical support as required.
• Hands-on management and maintenance of the IT environment, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
• Manage IT budgets, negotiate with vendors, and ensure cost-effective solutions are in place.
• Stay updated with the latest technology trends and advancements, recommending improvements to enhance the company's IT capabilities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT management or a related role.
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and databases.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with IT budgeting and vendor management.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with QAD, Citrix, Microsoft O365, and Azure.
• Additional certifications in IT management, network administration, or related fields.
• Experience in the manufacturing industry, particularly HVAC ducting.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices.
