IT Manager

Position Overview: 

We are looking for an experienced IT Manager to oversee and ensure the efficient functioning of our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have expertise in IT compliance, audits, networking, asset management, and vendor coordination. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• IT Infrastructure & Networking Management: 
  

• Oversee the management and maintenance of the company’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, data centres, and cloud solutions. 
  

• Ensure network stability, security, and performance by continuously monitoring and optimizing the IT infrastructure including servers, networks, software applications, IT Security systems (firewalls, antivirus, access controls) 
  

• Collaborate with the vendor to ensure the implementation and troubleshooting of network-related issues. 
  

• IT Process digitization like Zoho, SAP etc. 
  

• Compliance & Audit: Conduct IT audits, maintain IT policies, and ensure regulatory compliance. 
  

• Asset & Inventory Management: 
  

• Ensure proper tracking, procurement, and maintenance of IT hardware, software, and peripherals. 
  

• Manage the lifecycle of IT assets, including procurement, installation, maintenance, and disposal, ensuring compliance with company policies. 
  

• Networking: Maintain and troubleshoot network infrastructure, ensuring minimal downtime. 
  

• Server Management: Oversee server configurations, updates, and security patches. 
  

• Troubleshooting & Technical Support: 
  

• Oversee troubleshooting of hardware, software, and network-related issues to ensure minimal downtime. 
  

• Provide guidance to the IT team in resolving complex technical issues, escalating when necessary. 
  

• Vendor Management: 
  

• Manage relationships with third-party vendors for IT support, software licensing, hardware procurement, and cloud services. 
  

• Identify, evaluate, and manage IT vendors for hardware, software, and services procurement. 
  

• Negotiate contracts, service level agreements (SLAs), and ensure vendors meet performance expectations. 
  

• Security & Compliance: 
  

• Ensure the organization's IT systems are secure and compliant with relevant industry standards and regulations. 
  

• Implement and maintain IT security policies, including data protection, backups, and disaster recovery plans. 
  

• Reporting & Documentation: 
  

• Provide regular status reports on IT performance, issues, and initiatives. 
  

• Maintain detailed documentation for all IT assets, software, processes, and troubleshooting  
  

Qualifications & Skills: 

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or a related field. A master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP, or similar) would be a plus. 
  

• 8-12 years of experience in IT management roles. 
  

• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, and security protocols. 
  

• Experience in IT audits and compliance. 
  

• Ability to manage multiple IT projects and vendors. 
  

• Excellent problem-solving and leadership skills.
