IT Manager

As an IT Manager, you will be responsible and accountable for managing IT Operations for Bayut and dubizzle and supervising the implementation and maintenance of the company’s local IT infrastructure. You will work closely with all employees to ensure they can work seamlessly without worrying about IT issues.

In this role, you will:

• Manage IT Operations for Bayut and dubizzle.

• Manage organizational fiscal years, Capex/Opex planning, forecasting and expense management.
• Proactively identify performance weaknesses and propose solutions.
• Lead teams in problem management, change management and improvement opportunities to reduce incident counts.
• Collaborate with other technical and functional teams to document and support business rules and operating procedures.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to Bayut and dubizzle employees.
• Provide L2 desktop support (Windows/Mac/Linux).
• Server Administration.
• Set up and configure new laptops and desktops.
• Conduct regular system audits.
• Administer and maintain Wireless access points, VPN and company-issued mobile devices.
• Ensure security and upgrades are applied to desktops and laptops and kept up to date.
• Provide network support and resolve issues with routers and access points.
• Perform support duties, as required, to meet specific operational objectives.
• Provide ongoing guidance, feedback and mentoring support to the team.
• Proactively track, review team performance and provide feedback for improvements.
• Comply and help to maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing the company’s standards.
• Identify opportunities for team development and skills advancement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Any of the certifications, such as MCSE, MCSA, RHCE, CCNA, or Fortinet

Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in IT with a progressive career and at least 1+ years in leading a team.
• Experience in Enterprise Antivirus Solution.
• Experience in managing Active Directory and GPO.
• Experience in managing Firewalls, switches / routers (Preferably Fortinet, Cisco).
• Experience with various Operating systems, Endpoint Security and Patch management.
• Experience with cloud-based systems and tools.
• Network Management (Cisco Meraki).

Knowledge:

• Familiarity with MDM tools such as Maas360 or Desktop Central is a plus.
• Demonstrated skills in configuring/managing any enterprise-level routers/firewall, such as Cisco, Fortinet and Mikrotik.
• Knowledge of ITIL best practices.
• ITSM knowledge and experience (Preferably ServiceNow).
• Proficient with G Suite, Endpoint security, and familiarity with an IT service desk ticketing tool.
