The team is responsible for the implementation, maintenance and development of Information Systems and supporting ICT infrastructure for all Watts Water Technologies companies globally.
IT Manager position for regions: DACH, PL, IT, ES, RU, BG and UK. Main responsibility for Watts Industries Deutschland in Landau.
Responsibilities:
- Management of overall information technology and computer systems at the listed countries according to global and regional guidelines
- Management of the IT staff assigned in different locations
- Plan, organize, control and evaluate IT operations
- Implement and coordinate company policies and procedures
- Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems
- Act in alignment with user needs and system functionality to contribute to organizational policy
- Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions
- continuous improvement for IT
- Handle annual budget and ensure cost effectiveness
- Support / Helpdesk:
- Support for technical problems and questions in IT Hardware and Software in the main location
- Training and coaching of employees in IT Hardware and Software
- Analysis and resolving for issues in IT- operation with assistance from Global Helpdesk, including tracking and coordination of incident's (ticket system), interface between End users and Helpdesk
- Ensure a high availability of the IT services with an smooth and economical operation
- Technical assistance for relocation or creating IT workspaces & infrastructure
- Installation, administration, maintenance, monitoring servers and backups in virtualization platforms
- Integration, replacement or upgrade of local IT software solutions
- Coordination and procurement of the necessary IT components
- Projects / Process / BPM:
- Process analysis, elaboration and implementation of solutions in cooperation with the business departments
- Continuous improvement of IT Business processes adapted to the needs of the departments
- Support and further development of the ERP- system
- Interface function between IT and department/key users for the ERP system and connected systems
- Coaching of employees / trainees
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in IT or comparable
- Fluent English and German in spoken and written
- Proven working experience as an IT manager (min. 5 years of managerial experience) or relevant experience
- Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and of computer hardware/software systems
- Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration and network installation
- Ability to manage personnel
- Several years of professional experience in IT user support
- Experience SOX Processes
- Knowledge of Microsoft infrastructures and their products
- Knowledge of service and support of infrastructure and ERP systems in an industrial company with several sites
- High willingness to learn, agility, teamwork
- Knowledge of Cisco network is advantageous
- Knowledge of Vmware/Citrix virtualization platforms are advantageous
- Location: Watts Industries Deutschland in Landau/Hybrid Model.
- Reporting Structure: The role reports to the Sr Director Global Enterprise Applications.
